A New Chapter: From Surrender to Becoming

There are moments in life when change finds you before you even realize you’re ready for it. As we prepare to enter a new chapter and introduce Soulful Essence, I’ve found myself reflecting on how much has changed, not just within this business, but within me.

What started as a passion for fragrance, comfort, and creating peaceful spaces has grown into something much deeper. This business has grown alongside me, carrying pieces of my journey, my grief, my healing, my love, my creativity, and my purpose. We have evolved, and in many ways, I feel like we have been reborn.

Soulful Essence represents more than a new name for our business. It represents transformation, purpose, peace, and the soul of everything we have become.

The timing of this transition feels especially meaningful. September has always been a significant month for me. On September 13th, it will make four years since I lost my mom.

Grief changes you.

Loss changes you.

But healing changes you too.

For the past two years, I have been letting the bricks fall.

The expectations, the relationships, the pain, the guilt, and the old versions of myself. Everything I once felt responsible for holding together, I slowly learned to release.

That is where Surrender came from.

Surrender was never just a candle to me. It represented a season of my life. A season of learning that I could not control everything. A season of letting go of what was no longer meant for me. A season of releasing the weight I had carried for far too long.

For the past two years, I have been surrendering. I have let the bricks fall.

And now, I am no longer standing in the middle of what fell.

I am walking.

Walking into peace. Walking into purpose. Walking into the woman I am becoming.

Earlier this year, I realized something that took me a long time to understand. I was finally at peace. Not because everything in my life suddenly became perfect, but because I finally felt free.

Free to be myself.

Free to live in my truth.

Free to choose myself.

And somewhere along this journey, I found something I didn’t even realize I was searching for.

I found peace within my soul.

My soul is peaceful.

I found my soul.

I found the fire within my soul.

I found the love within my soul.

For a long time, I heard people say that grief is simply love with nowhere to go. But today, I see it differently.

My love has somewhere to go.

My love has transformed.

It lives in my soul.

It lives in the fire.

It lives in the essence of everything I create.

What once felt like grief has transformed into purpose. What once felt like pain has transformed into something meaningful. Something beautiful. Something I can create with my own hands and share with the world.

This new chapter of our brand is being created from a place of peace. A peaceful soul. A burning fire. A love that has transformed into purpose.

That is the heart of Soulful Essence.

It is about creating with intention. Creating from the heart. Creating spaces that feel like peace. Creating products that carry more than fragrance, but a feeling, a memory, a moment, and an essence.

We will always honor where we started.

Scentify Essence will forever be part of our foundation and our story. It represents the beginning, the dreams, the lessons, and every step that brought us to this moment.

And Surrender will remain part of our journey because sometimes you have to surrender before you can truly become.

But this next chapter begins in the walking.

Not in the falling.

Not in the surrendering.

In the walking.

Surrender was the release.

Becoming is the journey forward.

And that is why Becoming will represent this new chapter for us. It represents the freedom to continue growing, evolving, and becoming who we were always meant to be.

Soulful Essence is being born from that place.

A place of peace.

A place of purpose.

A place of freedom.

A place where the soul has finally found its voice.

As we step into this new chapter, I do so with gratitude for every version of this journey. For the beginning, the lessons, the losses, the love, the healing, the growth, and the freedom that came when I finally allowed myself to let go.

This isn’t the end of our story.

It’s a rebirth.

I have let the bricks fall.

I have surrendered.

Now, I am walking.
